Tuning to 432 Hz means using 432 Hz as the reference for the note A instead of 440 Hz, today’s standard. Every note then drops by about 31.8 cents, a little under a third of a semitone: the intervals between notes stay the same.
To play with other musicians or along with a recording, everyone has to use the same reference. To move an existing song to 432 Hz, use the converter.
On a guitar, the simplest way is to tune the A string (5th string) to 108 Hz, then tune the others from it, or one by one with the tuner.
